Registration

To create your account choose the “Register” link on the header navigational bar or use any of the links available on the home page.

When registering you will be asked to complete a short form which includes standard information such as your contact details, preferred login credentials etc.

Mandatory fields include:-

· Name

· City

· State/Province/county

· Zip/Post Code

· Phone Number

· Birthday

· Username & Password

· E-Mail address

· Confirmation of terms an conditions acceptance

Once registered you will receive E-Mail confirmation.

How do I list my item & How To Sell?

If you are not using the 33bid.com Bulk Listing software manager, you will need to follow the below steps to list your items. Click on the “Sell” link on the main menu located at the top of the webpage. You will be sent to step 1 of listing your item.If you did not verified your account,you will be prompted verification link if you already verified you will be directed to following links.

A: Main Category:

Click the Main Category that you wish to list and fits you best, then choose the appropriate sub-categories if available.

B: Second Category:

Click a second category for your item (optional). If you do not want a second category for your item, click the text button "No Thanks, I do Not Want To List In A Second Category!"

C: Item Description:

Item Subject: Enter the title of your auction in the "Item Name" text box. Enter as descriptive text as possible, as this is what will drive buyers to look at your auction.

Description: In the description box enter your text description, or your own html(no java). To enter your own html simply click the view html source button, which looks like this "<>". Then copy and paste your html into the box. Click the view html source button and you can see how your ad will look.

If you are not using your own html, you can just type your text into the description box. This program works similar to a word processor, so if you want to get fancy you can use the tools avialable to change fonts, add bullets, change font color, insert images, plus much more.

D: Auction Settings

Auction Type: Choose the auction type from the drop down menu.

Standard auction is for one item. If you want to list a quantity of greater than one, select dutch auction or IF you want to sell buy Buy Out option select this without auction and direct sale.

Auction Currency: Change the currency setting if you are a seller outside the US.

Item Quantity: Enter the quantity of items to be sold on this auction.

Auction Starts at: Enter the price you want your auction to start at. (NOTE: If you want to list a "Buy Out Only" auction, you need to set the start price equal to the buy out price.)

Reserve Price: Enter a reserve price (optional). Reserve price is the lowest you would be willing to sell your item at. So if you set a reserve price of $50.00, and your auction ended with the highest bid at $49.00, your item would end as unsold.

Buy Out: Enter a buy out price (optional). This would enable prospective buyer the option of buying at the price listed instead of waiting until the end of the auction. The buy now price must be equal to or higher than the start price.

Bid Increment: Leave this as it is, unless you want to set the bid increments to a different setting. A bid increment is the amount a bidder must bid over the previous bidder. So if you set the bid increment at $1.00 and there was a bid on your item of $5.00, the next bidder would have to bid at least $6.00.

Featured Item: These are options that have not a fee involved and will be listed your products on the frontpage of web site and % 100 visiable.

Start Time: Your auction will start immediaty upon submission, unless you click the custom box and enter the date and time you want your auction to start.

Duration: Choose the length of the auction you want from the drop down menu.

Private Auction: Choose this if you wish your bidders ID hidden.

Auto Relist: Check this option if you want your item to automatically relist if unsold or sold. If you choose enhanced options like homepage featured on this auction, you will not incur the fees for the initial listing of that item at all.

Upload Picture: Click the browse button and locate the picture for the auction from your computer. Once you find the picture or enter the url of the picture, click the "upload file" button. The page will refresh and you will now see a thumbnail of your picture in the images section of the listing page.

E: Shipping & Payment Shipping Conditions:

Select who pays for shipping and check the international box if you ship internationally. Payment Methods: Select which payment options you will accept.

Select direct payment methods for this item by checking the direct payment box. If you are not able to check the box, you need to set up these payment methods from the account management page. (My Account>>Manage Account). By using direct payment, buyers are able to pay for the item directly through the dnma66.com site.

Postage Costs: Enter shipping costs here. If unsure of costs, leave blank and place estimated costs in the Shipping & Payment Details box below.

Insurance: Enter insurance cost (optional).

Shipping & Payment Details: Enter shipping payment instructions/details here.

Type of Service: Select shipping service used * TOTAL SETUP FEES: This will show you the charges for listing this auction, most auctions do not have a fee unless additional options were chosen on the previous page. By clicking the next step button you state that you agree to the Terms and Conditions as listed.

Placing a bid on an item you are interested in couldn’t be easier, when viewing the item details page you will have two areas from where you can place your bid, one next to the item details and a second at the bottom of the page.

To place your bid simply enter the amount you wish to bid e.g. 50.00. Please note no currency symbols are required. The bid will be placed in the auction currency.

Once done you will be asked to review your bid and you will also be able to view vital item details such as the shipping conditions before confirming your bid. To submit your bid simply press the “Place Bid” button.

If your bid is high enough to take the lead in the auction a confirmation message will be displayed to you, however if your bid has not taken the lead be it due to a higher proxy bid or not meeting the reserve price you will be invited to make a further bid.

Should you decide to retract your bid this can be done via the “Current Bids” section of the member’s area.

You can also place a proxy bid, proxy bidding allows you to place your “High Bid”. At all times you will only pay the lowest required bid should you win the auction. For example, if the current bid on an auction is 500.00 you can place a proxy bid of 2,000. Should you remain the only bidder you will only pay 500.00. However should the item receive other bids the site will automatically re-bid for you (upto 2,000 in this scenario) to ensure you remain in the lead.

The auction watch features notifies you of newly listed auctions which contain keywords you have chosen. For example if you are looking for a new Digital Camera you could enter in those keywords from within your members area area. Each time a new auction is listed containing those keywords you will be notified via email.

The item watch features lets you keep a close eye on any auction without having to place a bid on it. This feature means you can be kept up to date on how an auction is doing and prepares you to place a winning last minute bid. You can watch any auction by clicking on the “Watch this item” link on any auction page.

If the option is available you can use “Buy Out” to purchase the item immediately without having to place a bid. Some sellers offer such an option which can be used at any time until a bid has been placed over any applicable reserve price.

The “Buy Out” option will appear on the item details page, you will be asked to confirm your intention to buy out the item before the sale is concluded. Buy out’s cannot be retracted.

How do i add direct payment to my auctions?

Click the "my account" tab in the members area, then click the "manage account" sub-tab. Scroll down to the direct payment settings, then enter your paypal email address or Google Checkout Mercant ID or other payments which you wish to accept then click the update button at the bottom of the page. Now when you list auctions, select the "paypal,google checkout or others" option for direct payment settings.

You need to be sure to set up the callback url in Paypal or google Call Back, so Google or Paypal automatically updates the payment status for auctions paid with direct pay. To do this you will need to log in to your Paypal account, click the "profile" link, then click the "instant payment notification" link. On this page you will need to turn this preference on, and include the below url as the IPN url do same in your google checkout account.

Your buyers will now be able to pay you directly through a paypal pay now button or google check out button on the dnma66.com site.

This must be completed before listing items, and you must select direct payment for each auction for this to work.

We recommend to all auctioners google checkout direct payment cos its cheap and some free for procession.better then paypal % 4 fee.

To list as buy out only option, you would just set the start price and the buy out price at the same value. Buyers would not be able to bid on the auction, they would only be able to use the buy out option.

I paid the verification fee through Google checkout, but my account is not verified.

Google payments take about 20-30 minutes to be properly screened and applied to accounts, so verification could take this long to be completed. Please do not submit payment again, as this will not speed up the process. We suggest waiting 30-35 minutes, then checking your account to see if these changes are applied. If there is any problem with your payment, Google will automatically send you an email within this 30 minute period. This applies to other payments made through Google also.
